How to Get Cheap Car Glass Replacement

Where to find replacement glass for a truck cap/camper top?

I have a Century truck cap that came off of a '94 Mazda B4000 pickup. We bought the pickup after it had been vandalized, and all the cap windows but the front were smashed. Century does not sell parts or anything directly to the public, they only go through their dealers; I called my local dealer and they Read the rest of this entry »

Cheap Car Replacement Glass Prices

If you are in the market for car replacement glass let me give you one suggestion….get a free no obligation price quote from this site and save yourself a ton of time and money.  The company, Glass.net is a leader in the replacement glass industry and they have put together one super simple solution for shopping for glass online

Its pretty straight forward, enter your zip code and your vehicle make and model and hit the get quote button.  You will then be shown multiple price quotes from installers in your area, their contact info, their prices, and any customer reviews that they might have already.

I contacted one of the companies in my area and they came out that night to replace my rear windshield. The price….super cheap, better than I had expected. I was quoted over $700 from the dealership and these guys did the job for $200!

They offered me free mobile installation and they cleaned up the mess!

I wanted to pay with my Visa card, which was no problem either.

Be sure to ask if the car replacement glass is new or defect being sold as “new” but is not actually perfect enough to be sold at other retailers.

I would also make sure you get the same safety options as your original glass had, since there could be a difference.  Most of the replacement glass comes from China these days (what doesn’t) so it would be nice to know you are getting the same quality as you originally had.

Do you know how they make car windshields?  I was shocked at how complex it really is.
